VoiceG is a community for people older than 18 built around voices, shared places, and everyday moments. This Policy explains information handling for the features you use and should be read with the Terms of Service.
1. Who is responsible
The developer identified on VoiceG’s App Store product page provides VoiceG and is responsible for the information described in this Policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the App Support contact on that product page.
2. Information related to your use
The information involved depends on the features you choose to use:
- Account and profile: sign-in information, account identifiers, age or birthday information you provide, display name, profile photo, voice introduction, interests, and connection preferences.
- Your contributions: City Echoes, Community text, photos and voice posts, replies, Resonance activity, follows, connection requests, and messages you send.
- Location: the city or area you choose and, when you grant device permission, location information used to center your map and, when you publish a location sound, place it on the public map.
- Live interactions: audio you choose to transmit in a Voice Room, room participation, speaking requests, and room-control activity.
- Purchases: purchase confirmations and transaction identifiers, Echo Coin balances, free-post usage, and successful coin deductions. Apple processes In-App Purchase payments; VoiceG does not receive your full payment-card details from those transactions.
- Safety and operations: reports, block actions, support correspondence, and technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as app version, device and connection information, and error records.
3. How information is used
Information is used to create and protect accounts; check eligibility; publish and deliver content; support local discovery and connections; run Voice Rooms; maintain coin balances and purchase records; respond to support requests; investigate abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these uses depend on providing the service you request, your permission for optional processing, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as service security and abuse prevention, balanced against your rights.
4. Location and what other people see
When you publish a location sound, its location and coordinates are shared on the public city map. You can review the place before publishing. Device location used only to center your map is not published. You can manage location permissions, including Precise Location, in iOS Settings.
Public profile information and content you choose to publish can be seen by the audience of the relevant feature. Resonance, replies, and participation may be visible in their social context. Your complete birthday, private messages, sign-in credentials, and other private account information are not displayed publicly.
Messages are available to their intended participants and may also be processed where necessary for delivery, support, safety investigations, or legal obligations. “Not public” does not mean that all communications are end-to-end encrypted.
Do not include addresses, identification documents, contact details, or other sensitive information in public content. Photos, speech, and descriptions can reveal places or personal information even when a location label is approximate. Other people may copy content that they can see or hear.
5. Voice posts and live audio
Voice posts and introductions are content you choose to publish; they remain available according to their audience and deletion settings. A Voice Room is different: it is a live conversation related to an eligible City Echo, with up to eight participants and four speakers.
VoiceG does not save full room recordings after a room ends. Participation records and safety reports are separate from full recordings and may be retained for the purposes described here. You control when to request speaking access, mute your microphone, or leave. Other participants must not record or redistribute your voice without the required permission.
6. Permissions and choices
- Microphone: used when you choose to record voice content or speak in a room. You can deny or revoke permission; listening and other features that do not require the microphone remain separate choices.
- Photos or camera: access is requested when a supported feature needs content you choose to add or capture. Only grant the access you want to provide.
- Location: permission supports local discovery and area placement. Features needing device location may be limited when permission is off.
- Notifications: if enabled, notifications may inform you about relevant activity. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Reading these documents or accepting the Terms does not grant device permissions. iOS permission requests are separate. You can also choose what to post, whom to connect with, and whether to block or report another user.
7. Sharing and service providers
Information is shared with other users according to the feature and audience you select. Providers supporting hosting, content delivery, communications, security, and support may process the information needed for their assigned services under appropriate instructions and protections. Apple handles Apple sign-in and In-App Purchase information under its own terms and privacy practices when you choose those services.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, protect safety or rights, investigate fraud or abuse, or support a corporate transaction with appropriate protections and notice where required. Private account information is not made public merely because you join the community.
8. Retention, deletion, and security
Information is kept for the purposes for which it was collected, taking account of account activity, the content or transaction involved, support and safety needs, and legal requirements. Published content, purchase records, and abuse reports can have different retention needs. Full Voice Room recordings are not retained after a room ends.
You may request deletion of your account or content. Information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified, subject to obligations such as transaction recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and abuse prevention. Removal from backups may follow their normal replacement cycle. Copies independently retained by recipients or other users may be outside VoiceG’s control.
Access controls and other reasonable safeguards are used to protect information. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and account, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent for processing based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate processing already carried out lawfully.
Send requests using the developer’s App Support contact on VoiceG’s App Store product page. We may need to verify that a request concerns your account and explain any lawful limits. You may also raise concerns with the data-protection authority that serves your region. Different rights and response requirements may apply in different places.
10. Adults only and international processing
VoiceG is intended only for people older than 18. You cannot use the service on or before your 18th birthday. If you believe an underage person has an account or has supplied personal information, report it so eligibility and deletion can be reviewed.
Service providers may process information in locations other than where you live. Where cross-border safeguards are legally required, the relevant protections must apply to that processing. Information remains subject to the protections described in this Policy.
11. Changes and contact
This Policy may change as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated, and separate consent will be requested where required. The updated date identifies the version you are reading.
For privacy, account-deletion, or safety questions, contact the VoiceG developer using the App Support details on VoiceG’s App Store product page. Read the Terms of Service for the EULA, community rules, and Echo Coin terms.
